Want to take him up on it? Before you do, recall the infamous bet made by Julian Simon and Paul Erlich of Stanford. Pick any basket of commodities. Their cost will plummet and their availability will rise in a decade. All for $10K. Erlich squelched on the bet for another decade. Simon offered double or nothing for the next decade but the Stanford professor had better fish to fry…hustling his fearmongering books on imminent human starvation. Not yet…
